Generation Orbit (GO) is seeking qualified, creative, and motivated undergraduate and graduate applicants for a full-time internship during the Spring semester of 2016. Applicants must be interested in working in a rapidly progressing and dynamic startup environment. Experience in engineering and/or entrepreneurship are encouraged. This position requires an average of 40 hours worked per week.
Tasks focused on development of the GOLauncher product lines will vary depending on the experience, skills, and interests of candidates, but may include one or more of the following: software development, design and analysis of launch vehicle structures, solid modeling, mechanical design, embedded systems design, test planning, flight operations development, design and implementation of a marketing campaign, market analysis, and/or sales.
This position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
-College student working towards a BS or MS degree in a relevant field of study
-Experience in life cycle development of a product
-Entrepreneurial spirit is a must
-Motivated, flexible, and willing to try new tasks
-Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a dynamic workplace environment
-GPA of 3.0 or greater
-US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Typical Responsibilities:
-Work directly with engineering and management staff
-Complete assigned milestones in budget and on schedule
-Prepare for external program meetings and reviews
-Support a wide range of technical and planning tasks related to GOLauncher
